Bollington
Situated a couple of miles north of Macclesfield, Bollington is a popular place to live,
known locally as "Happy Valley".
The Macclesfield Canal and Middlewood Way both pass through the village, and there are hills to three sides.
This photo is taken looking northwards over Bollington from White Nancy, a dome-like structure at the
northern end of Kerridge Hill.
The hill immediately behind the village is Nab Head, and in the distance you can just make out Manchester
Airport, the city itself, and the hills beyond.
